Replacement Power Trowel Blade Guide

Find replacement power trowel blades by comparing blade dimensions, blade type, mounting style and bolt-hole spacing. This guide covers the Kraft Tool SK100 finish-blade family and SK101 combination-blade family offered by Fast Ship Tools.

Start with the mounting pattern. A 36-inch machine diameter or matching brand name does not guarantee compatibility. Check the existing blade, blade arm and model-specific parts manual before ordering.

How to Check Your Power Trowel Blade Bolt Pattern

Compare the replacement blade's mounting bar with the blade arm on your machine. Hole count alone is not enough: the holes used by the machine must align, and the mounting hardware must match.

  1. Identify the machine. Record the manufacturer, complete model number and serial number or production year.
  2. Measure the blade. Check its width and length, and identify whether it is a finish, combination or float blade.
  3. Identify the mounting system. Confirm whether the machine uses a bolted bar mount, channel mount, quick-change bar or another attachment.
  4. Measure hole spacing center to center. Measure between the centers of the mounting holes used by the blade arm. Record adjacent-hole spacing and, where applicable, the distance between the two outer holes.
  5. Check the hardware. Confirm bolt diameter, thread, length and required hardware against the machine manual.
  6. Check clearance and application. Confirm that the blade width, profile and material are suitable for the machine and intended work.

SK100 and SK101 Mounting-Bar Dimensions

Fast Ship Tools publishes the following bar dimensions for its SK100B finish blade and SK101G and SK101R combination blades. The guide uses these as the reference dimensions for the listed SK100/SK101 pattern. Confirm the selected product and your machine before ordering.

  • Mounting style: Bolted bar mount with three mounting holes
  • Bar length: 10-1/4 inches
  • Bar width: 5/8 inch
  • Bar thickness: 5/8 inch
  • Adjacent-hole spacing: 4-3/4 inches center to center on each side
  • Outer-hole spacing: 9-1/2 inches center to center, calculated from the two published adjacent-hole measurements

Three blade holes do not necessarily mean three installed bolts. For example, the Multiquip J36 Series/M30 parts manual lists eight blade-mounting screws for four blades, or two screws per blade. Follow the machine's required mounting arrangement; do not infer bolt quantity from the number of holes in a replacement blade.

Source distinction: The bar dimensions and 4-3/4-inch spacing above are published by Fast Ship Tools. The manufacturer references below establish blade numbers and selected model associations, but do not independently establish that spacing for every listed machine.

SK100 — 6-Inch × 14-Inch Finish Blades

The SK100 family provides 6-inch × 14-inch finish blades for compatible 36-inch power trowels using the matching bar-mount pattern. Finish blades are used for the finishing stage after floating.

References requiring confirmation: AEC614F, M6093, Stow 220227-501 and Wacker 73302 were not independently confirmed against manufacturer documentation in this review. The retained Stow number differs from Kraft's published 22027 reference; verify the exact part number before treating them as equivalent.

SK101 — 8-Inch × 14-Inch Combination Blades

The SK101 family provides 8-inch × 14-inch bar-mount combination blades for compatible 36-inch power trowels. Combination blades allow floating and finishing with the same blade.

SK101 blades are wider than the 6-inch SK100 finish blades. The listed families use the same published mounting-pattern dimensions, but mounting alignment, blade clearance and material restrictions must still be checked.

These are the six SK101-family options linked in this guide. Kraft's older literature also identifies SK101P, an 8-inch × 14-inch UHMW poly combination blade. A current Fast Ship Tools product URL for SK101P was not verified, so it is not presented as an available purchase option.

Rounded-Corner References

The existing guide lists Multiquip / Whiteman C844R, Marshalltown M7342 and Wagman WX8140 as rounded-corner SK101R references. These references remain separate from the standard SK101 list.

Verification status: A direct manufacturer cross-reference from each of these numbers to SK101R was not established in this review. Kraft's chart maps Wagman WX8140 to standard SK101 and separately describes SK101R as a flat combination blade with 2-inch radius corners. Confirm corner profile and mounting details before substituting a rounded-corner blade.

Verified Manufacturer and Model Fitment Findings

The findings below distinguish manufacturer-listed blade applications from replacement-pattern inferences. None establishes universal fitment across a brand.

Whiteman / Multiquip — 36-Inch J Series

Multiquip's J36H90H product page lists C844, an 8-inch × 14-inch combination blade, and F900, a 6-inch × 14-inch finish blade, among the recommended blades for 36-inch J-series walk-behind trowels.

Kraft's chart maps C-844 to SK101. The F900 size and application, together with the retained SK100 cross-reference, identify SK100 as a finish-blade replacement candidate. Verify the installed mount before ordering either family.

Bolt-pattern finding: The J36 Series/M30 parts manual lists eight 5/16-18 × 1-1/2-inch Grade 5 blade-mounting screws for four blades. This documents two screws per blade for the illustrated assembly. The reviewed documentation does not independently dimension the hole spacing.

Multiquip also lists quick-change blades and a separate quick-change mounting bar. Do not treat a quick-change installation as directly interchangeable with the bolted SK100/SK101 bar mount without checking the mounting system.

Allen / Razorback — Documented 016095 Application

Kraft's replacement chart maps Allen / Razorback 016095 to SK101. Allen's 2012 propane-trowel manual lists four 016095 combination blades measuring 8 inches × 14 inches in its 436 propane power-unit parts list.

Fitment finding: This supports the SK101 replacement pattern for the documented 016095 application. It does not confirm every Allen 436 configuration, production year or other Allen model.

Bolt-pattern limitation: Exact blade-hole spacing was not independently confirmed in the reviewed Allen documentation. Compare the installed blade and arm with the published SK101 bar dimensions.

Husqvarna — Confirm the Blade Number and Model

Husqvarna identifies 598929501 as a four-piece 36-inch WX614F finish-blade set and 598929502 as a four-piece 36-inch WX8140 combination-blade set. Kraft's chart maps WX614F to SK100 and WX8140 to SK101.

Husqvarna's reviewed accessory pages list MCT 36 for these sets. Its regional LATAM pages also list CRT 36 I. These manufacturer associations support replacement-pattern candidates, subject to the actual mounting arrangement.

CT 36 and CT 36 I require a separate check. Husqvarna's current US CT 36 I accessory listing uses VARI-TROWEL combination blade kit 540211502. That listing does not establish equivalence to 598929502 or SK101. Do not apply the older WX8140 cross-reference automatically to every CT 36 or CT 36 I.

Bolt-pattern limitation: The reviewed accessory listings do not publish hole spacing. A matching Husqvarna name or 36-inch diameter does not replace measurement.

Superior / Husqvarna naming caution: Fast Ship Tools' SK101B product listing uses “Superior / Husqvarna” in its displayed title. Kraft's chart separately assigns the Superior / Boren 2836FL application to SK220. Confirm the SKU and mounting pattern; do not assume SK101 and SK220 are interchangeable because both are 8 inches × 14 inches.

Tomahawk — JXPT36K and TPT36H

Wagman's indexed WX8140 bar-mount product listing includes Tomahawk JXPT36K among its applications. Kraft's replacement chart maps WX8140 to SK101. This is an aftermarket cross-reference chain identifying SK101 as a replacement candidate for JXPT36K; it is not a direct Tomahawk approval of Kraft SK101.

Tomahawk's own finishing-blade listing specifies 6-inch × 14-inch bar-mounted blades for JXPT36K and TPT36H. It does not name SK100 or publish the mounting-hole spacing.

Tomahawk also has a combination-blade listing labeled 6 inches × 14 inches. Because that published size differs from SK101's 8-inch × 14-inch dimensions, it does not independently verify SK101 equivalence.

Bolt-pattern limitation: Exact hole spacing and the required mounting-hole arrangement were not independently confirmed for JXPT36K or TPT36H. Measure the blade arm and existing blade before ordering. SK101 fitment for TPT36H remains unverified in the reviewed sources.

Wagman source note: The WX8140 application was available in indexed manufacturer content, but the direct page returned an access challenge during this review. Confirm the application with Wagman if a fitment decision depends on that listing.

Before Ordering Replacement Blades

  • Match the complete machine model and its installed mounting system.
  • Compare blade dimensions, mounting-bar dimensions and the holes actually used by the blade arm.
  • Verify center-to-center spacing rather than measuring from the edges of the holes.
  • Confirm the required bolt thread, length and hardware using the machine manual.
  • Check clearance before replacing a 6-inch-wide finish blade with an 8-inch-wide combination blade.
  • Choose the material and blade profile appropriate for the application.
  • Use SK101-OT only on compatible walk-behind machines. SK101-OTSR permits compatible walk-behind and ride-on applications. Neither is intended for use with float pans.
  • Check blade quantity: each linked product is a four-pack, while a ride-on machine may require more than one pack.

If the part number or measurements do not match, confirm fitment before purchasing. A cross-reference identifies a possible replacement; it does not override differences in mounting hardware, machine configuration or blade profile.
