Pool Plaster Abrasive Disc 120 grit works with water or air-driven tools on marble, quartz, or pebble-based pool plaster finishes. Wet or dry can remove trowel marks and smooth over overexposed pool finishes. Our 120 Grit diamonds are bonded with a NON-CORROSIVE matrix material, unlike traditional electroplated pads. That causes rust problems from the residuals most of the time after use. Use our 7" hook and loop backing pad on a variable speed polisher, or sander producing 3500 RPMs or less. The residuals from the bonding material will not stain swimming pool plaster, unlike other pad residues that stain pool plaster finishes over time. Works well with all water and air driven variable speed polishers, and sanders. Our 7" diameter hook and loop backer pad AG7529 is used with our Pool Plaster Abrasive disc to ensure 100% contact with the pool plaster finish you are resurfacing. NOTE: When using a pool plaster disc without water it is important not to overheat the disc by doing a 5 Ft. x 5 Ft. area then use a hose to wash off plaster residual material remaining keeping disc and plaster cool.
