The 3.5mm wide trapezium carbide replacement blade is for use with the Leister Electric Groover. It installs in place of the blade on the grooving machine when the original wears, so the tool keeps cutting uniform weld joints in resilient floor coverings such as PVC vinyl, linoleum, and rubber. The groover itself ships with a 3.5mm wide trapezium blade installed, so this replacement matches that width.

Sharpening or re-toothing can be done on these blades, so a worn blade can be brought back into service rather than replaced. Keeping the teeth in good condition helps the groover track cleanly along the seam.

Keep a spare carbide blade on hand when grooving seams for vinyl welding, so a worn or damaged blade does not stop the job mid-installation.
