Leister Groovy 2.5 Replacement Blade

The Groovy Replacement Blade is made only for the Leister Groovy gouging tool. This is the original blade that comes with the Leister Groovy, so it matches the tool as designed.

This replacement groove blade has a 2.5 mm U-shape and supports a maximum groove depth of 2 mm. It is intended for work on PVC and linoleum floor coverings. The blade cuts the welding groove that accepts vinyl weld rod during heat welding.

Replacing the blade on your Leister Groovy keeps the gouging tool cutting cleanly. A worn blade can affect the groove before you notice it, so swapping in the original replacement blade helps keep grooves consistent with the rest of the seam.

Keep a spare Groovy replacement blade in the toolbox so a dull edge never slows down a seam. Check the blade edge during seam preparation and replace it when grooves start to look rough or uneven.
