The Turbo Cove Groover is specially designed to groove flash cove areas. It gives installers a dedicated hand tool for the cove portion of a vinyl flooring installation, where the seam follows the curve where the floor meets the wall and a consistent groove is harder to cut than on a flat seam. A clean, consistent groove helps the seam accept vinyl weld rod evenly.
The fin next to the U-blade guides the groover along the seam for an exceptional groove. Because the fin tracks the seam as you work, the tool stays on course and the groove stays even along the cove.
The Turbo Cove Groover uses the 5mm U-blade. Matching the blade to the tool as specified keeps the groove width consistent with the rest of the seaming work. As part of the hand vinyl flooring groover range, it is made for professional seaming work on coved seams. Use it during seam preparation, before the seam is heat welded.
